    Faculty Resources

Faculty training on online instruction will be ongoing and led by the Center of Teaching & Learning. Visit Baruch’s Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) for tips and resources on:

    • Teaching Online for the First Time
    • Recording and Sharing Video Lectures
    • Web Conferencing and Synchronous Instruction
    • Digital Content
    • Handling Administrative Tasks
    • Faculty Checklist: What to Start Doing in Advance of a Closing

The CTL is available for remote consultations with faculty members on strategies for moving course content online or coming up with alternative assignments. Remote appointments can be booked via CTL website.

Webinar: Supporting Higher Ed Students Remotely during COVID-19
This webinar addresses mental health and distance learning challenges students may face during the time of COVID-19. Baruch College Counseling Center Director Teresa Hurst, Ph.D., and Psychology Professor Glenn Albright, Ph.D., share best practices for identifying these issues and supporting students remotely. Watch now.

    Newman Library Retrieval Service
While the William and Anita Newman Library remains closed to onsite visitors, faculty can get books and journals from the stacks through a retrieval service run by library staff.

    Campus Access

Faculty and staff requiring access to the campus can only do so by permission and appointment. Access will be granted only if deemed necessary in support of distance education; it is strongly discouraged in keeping with the PAUSE order. See the Campus Access page for more details.
